Diagnostic Test

VERIFY THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) IS ACTIVE

NOTE:

Make sure the IOD fuse is installed and the battery is fully charged before proceeding.

Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order.
Is this DTC active?

Yes
- Refer to 2.0L & 2.4L - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX and perform the U0151-Lost Communication with Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) diagnostic procedure.
No
- Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
