Shifter, Transmission: Installation: Installation

  1. Install the shifter in place.
  2. Clip the shift cable to the shifter.

  3. Install the shifter bolts and tighten to 6 N.m (53 ft. in lbs.).
  4. Attach interlock cable to shifter.
  5. Connect the shifter harness connector.
  6. Install shifter housing. Refer to HOUSING, SHIFTER, INSTALLATION .
