Cups, Differential Bearing: Removal: Removal

1 - SPECIAL TOOL L-4518
2 - GEAR CASE
  1. Remove differential assembly from gear case (2) using the procedure outlined in this Service Information.
  2. Install Remover (special tool #L-4518, Remover, Bearing Cup) (1) into the differential bearing cup.

    2 - SPECIAL TOOL L-4518
    3 - WRENCH
  3. Install the tool cup (2) over the tool.
  4. Tighten the tool until the race is removed from the case.
