Install shifter assembly. (1) to riser. Install and tighten bolts (3) to 7 N.m (61 in. lbs.).

Install shift cable (2) to shifter lever (1) and secure cable to shifter bracket with clip (3).

Install select cable to shifter lever and secure cable to shifter bracket.
Install the shifter housing. Refer to HOUSING, SHIFTER, INSTALLATION . Install rear power window switch (if equipped) and fasten harness to console (see appropriate Service Information).
Verify that shift pattern is aligned properly.
