Diagnostic Test

ACTIVE DTC 

1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With a scan tool, read the active DTCs.

   Does the scan tool display U0151-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER (ORC)?

   Yes 

   • Refer to 2.0L & 2.4L - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX and perform the appropriate U0151-Lost Communication with Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) diagnostic procedure.

   No 

   • Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTC diagnostic procedure.
