Stabilizer Bar, Rear Suspension: Removal: Removal
NOTE:
Before proceeding, refer to WARNING .
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- On both sides of the vehicle, while holding the stabilizer bar link upper stud stationary, remove the nut (1) securing the link to the stabilizer bar (3).
- If equipped with all-wheel-drive, remove the rear driveline module. Refer to REMOVAL .
- On both sides of the vehicle, remove the screws (3) securing the stabilizer bushing retainers (1) to the crossmember.
- Remove the two stabilizer bushing retainers.
- Remove the stabilizer bar (2) from the vehicle.
- If required, remove the two cushions from the stabilizer bar utilizing the slit cut into the cushions (bushings).
