Diagnostic Test
- CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
- Turn the radio on and place it in satellite mode.
- With the scan tool, read the radio DTCs.
Does the scan tool display active: B157C-SATELLITE REGION MISMATCH - REST OF WORLD?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Test Complete.
- CHECK THE RADIO
- With the scan tool, verify the radio is programmed for the proper country code.
Does the scan tool display a country code of other than US or Canada?
Yes
- Replace the radio in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to RADIO, REMOVAL .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE - BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Verify the vehicle configuration.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE - BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
- With the scan tool, verify the radio is programmed for the proper country code.
